At the personal precautionary hearing in Sucre, the Cochabamba judge gave house arrest without pre-trial detention to Milera Soto, a member of the Cochala Youth Resistance (RJC).
“I have to submit to an arraigo, I am house arrested without a guardian and with a work permit,” Soto told the media who were waiting for her after the hearing.
Among other things, Soto has to sign with the Ministry of Public Affairs every 15 days.
The hearing began at around 1:00 p.m. in the Fourth Criminal Court of the Departmental Court of Justice (TDJ) of Chuquisaca.
Prosecutors charged Soto with the crimes: criminal association, illicit manufacture, possession, illicit possession, and qualified harm.
