The US embassy in Bolivia reported this Monday that it is suspending routine “nonimmigrant visa” appointments due to the increase in Covid-19 cases.
“We regret to inform you that due to the increase in Covid-19 cases and for health and safety reasons, all routine nonimmigrant visa appointments have been temporarily suspended.”

They also clarify that “people who made appointments will receive an email with rescheduling instructions”.
The date on which this measure will be lifted in order to resume the nonimmigrant visa process is not known yet.
