Two-hour departure from Jeanine Áñez authorized to go to a clinic

The Second Court for Combating Corruption and Violence against Women in La Paz this afternoon issued a court order for former President Jeanine Áñez to leave the German Clinic for a period of two hours between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Relatives said the ex-president had undergone medical examinations this morning without notice. They pointed out that the psychiatrist treating them was Cuban.

The daughter Carolina Ribera and the defense attorney Norka Cuéllar are waiting in front of the gates of the Miraflores women’s prison for the court order to leave the country.
