They issue arrest warrants against Sosa in the case of phantom objects

The public prosecutor responsible for the case of the ghost objects has issued an arrest warrant against the former mayor of Santa Cruz, Angélica Sosa.

According to the newspaper El Deber, the arrest warrant has been signed by prosecutor Marcela Terceros as of today.

The document indicates that the former mayor must be arrested for legitimizing illegal income, illicit enrichment, wasteful behavior and abuse of influence.

The complaint was made by the municipal mayor’s office against Antonio Parada, Javier Cedeño, Javier Carrasco, Julio Herbas, Percy Fernández and Angélica Sosa.

The case exploded following a complaint from Valeria Rodríguez, Antonio Parada’s ex-partner. The woman denounced the existence of 800 ghost items in the Santa Cruz mayor’s office.
