With police custody, the precautionary hearing of the former interim mayor of Santa Cruz, Angélica Sosa, was scheduled this Thursday at around 4.30 p.m. in the Palace of Justice. Sosa was arrested Tuesday for her alleged involvement in the allegedly 800 ghost items.

The public prosecutor’s office announced that it would apply for preventive detention while the investigation was ongoing.

The hearing was scheduled for 4:00 p.m. but it lasted half an hour due to changes in the room where the hearing was to be held, the Santa Cruz media reported.

“Basically, because of precautionary measures, the hearing had to take place on the sixth floor; At the last minute, however, it was announced that it would take place on the 13th floor, but not at this location either, but on the 15th floor, “reports Unitel.
