One day after the citizens’ strike against the Unauthorized Profits Law, the Movement for Socialism (MAS) mobilized its social organizations to demonstrate its strength.
The so-called “Wiphalazo” takes place in Cochabamba (10:00), La Paz (14:00) and Santa Cruz (16:00) and is next to the main leaders of the party according to the government.
In Cochabamba, hundreds of AMS supporters gather in Plaza San Sebastián, near the hill of the same name, where a huge platform has been set up.
Former President Evo Morales is leading this mobilization along with deputies and leaders of the Pact of Unity.
At 2 p.m. it will be La Paz. Militants, officials and supporters were called to Ceja de El Alto and other areas to gather in Plaza San Francisco.
The day of the official mobilization ends at 4:00 p.m. in Santa Cruz. The masistas were called at the Chiriguano roundabout on Segundo Anillo and Grigotá streets.
