Senamhi predicts temperatures of 36 ° C to 40 ° C in four departments

The National Meteorology and Hydrology Service (Senamhi) predicted a heat wave hitting Santa Cruz, the tropics of Cochabamba, Beni and Pando, with a probability of 36 ° C to 40 ° C. Against this background, the Senamhi issued an orange alarm.

“Maximum temperatures are forecast above average, with the probability of reaching temperatures of 36 ° C to 40 ° C from Sunday, August 22nd to Tuesday, August 24th,” says a newsletter of the institution.

The document indicates that the affected provinces in Cochabamba will be north of Carrasco and Chapare.

In Santa Cruz, the warning includes the provinces of Ichilo, Sara, Santisteban, Warnes, Ibáñez, Guarayos, uflo de Chávez, Velasco, Sandoval, Busch, Chiquitos, and Cordillera.

The provinces concerned will be in Beni; Moxos, Marban, Cercado, Ballivian, Yacuma, Mamoré, Itenéz and Vaca Diez.

In Pando are the provinces concerned: F. Román, Abuná, N. Suarez, Manuripi and Madre de Dios.
