Social movements are preparing a mobilization for October 12th in defense of the Wiphala, democracy, the homeland and the “Lucho Presidente”, announced the former President and leader of the MAS, Evo Morales, this Sunday.
The leader of the Federations of the Tropics of Cochabamba, interviewed by Radio Kausachun Coca, said that in this department the concentration is carried out with 50 percent of his bases. He added that a march from Caracollo to the seat of government was planned in La Paz.
“On October 12th there will be a major mobilization in Cochabamba in defense of the homeland, democracy, Wiphala, the change process and President Lucho,” said Morales.
He explained that the participants in this mobilization in Cochabamba must each come with their respective wiphala, as a token of the justification of this national symbol, which was violated by the followers of Luis Fernando Camacho.
The former president of the country regretted the provocations of right-wing citizens who announced a work stoppage after the court summons to Camacho so that he can explain his role in the 2019 “coup”.
In this context, Morales recalled that the citizenry had a stronger urban presence and represented sectors of the right, which included their “operational groups,” he said.
