Police gassed blockades in the Beltway, but neighbors took the road back up

Police used gas to blockade the avenues Circunvalación and Atahuallpa in the north of the city; but the neighbors closed the street again after hard arguments.

Neighbors have blocked the road since dawn to obey the national strike against the Legitimacy Control Law for Illegal Profits.

Police gasped up around 10:00 a.m. after trying to speak to protesters.

The Circunvalación avenue is a fundamental step in heavy haulage.

Neighbors raised a national flag from side to side of the avenue and held onto it by creating a barrier, but they were escorted by police officers.

After the gassing, however, they took the pressure measurement.
