Police deny arrest of Antonio Parada in Brazil

Police commander Jhonny Aguilera denied that Antonio Parada, former head of the personnel department of the Santa Cruz mayor’s office and the main culprit of the 800 suspected phantom objects, was detained in Brazil.

This afternoon, Aguilera denied capture while in contact with Red Uno.

Valeria Rodríguez’s lawyer Darly Franco had previously stated that Parada had been arrested in Corumbá, a Brazilian city on the border with Bolivia.

Police ransacked a house in Urubo this afternoon as part of the investigation into the ghost objects. The prosecution is expected to produce a report on the case in the hours that follow.
