Opposition calls for the removal of “irregular” groups related to MAS after threats against Apdhb

Civic Community MP Alberto Astorga called on the government ministry, the police and the public prosecutor to disband the “irregular groups” related to the MAS. Yesterday a group called “Willa Lluch’us Warrior Army” threatened to burn down the house of the President of the Bolivian Human Rights Assembly (Apdhb), Amparo Carvajal.

This group should dismantle this group, it has been observed that they are in photos with the Vice-President, they are people of the MAS, Part of the criminal groups of the MAS and the government. We demand that the government minister intervene and disband these irregular groups that attack, “Astorga told the media.

The group “Willa Lluch’us Warrior Army”, which threatened to burn down the house of the President of the Permanent Assembly of Human Rights of Bolivia, Amparo Carvajal, campaigned for the Movement towards Socialism (MAS) and one of its leaders has photos with the president Luis Arce and Vice President David Choquehuanca.

They appear on Facebook as Egwill Warrior Army Willa Lluch’us, their messages have been shared for the sub-national election campaign since February 2020. They express their support for the gubernatorial candidate Franklin Flores.

Its members can also be seen at election campaign events in La Paz, mobilizations and concentrations of candidates.

However, the President of the Movement Towards Socialism (MAS), Evo Morales, denied that this group and its members were part of his political organization.
