One million AstraZeneca vaccines donated by Argentina arrive in Bolivia

Bolivia received 1 million vaccines against Covid-19 this Monday through a donation from Argentina. The game reached the hangar of the Black Devils of the Bolivian Air Force in the city of El Alto.

“I would like to thank the Argentine people for this cooperation, which will be mutual, also because this is the beginning of several activities that we are pending,” said the Minister of Health and Sports, Jeyson Auza, at a press conference from the city of El Alto .

Of a million vaccines, 860,000 doses correspond to the manufacturer mAbxience, Argentina, formulation and filling PT: OSO Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturing LLC and 140,000 doses from the manufacturer mAbxience, Argentina and Laboratorios Liomont SA de CV

The Hercules C-130, which arrived in the town of El Alto, also carried a delegation consisting of the Argentine Minister of Health Carla Vizzotti, her staff and the head of the White Helmets, Sabina Frederic.

These doses, donated by Argentina, will be used for booster vaccinations as part of the national vaccination campaign against the pandemic, which is in the fourth wave of infections in the country.
