Two minors, a 12-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl, were injured and the windows of the tax administration offices of the La Paz Mayor’s Office were smashed after the explosion was recorded on Sunday night near the municipal offices.
The mayor’s office announced that the minors were being treated in the children’s hospital for “splinter wounds in the lumbar area”.

“The glasses suddenly fell. It sounded loud, it happened at 8:25 pm. There weren’t many people, ”one witness of the explosion told the La Paz media.
An explosive device detonated around 8:30 p.m. in a trash on Colón Street and near the municipal garage, the Mayor of La Paz said tentatively.
The tax offices work in the Armando Escobar building, a former state bank, where several windows were also affected by the explosion.
