Government confirms that Parada is in Corumbá and that his immigration status is being investigated

Justice Minister Iván Lima confirmed tonight that Antonio Parada is in Corumbá, Brazil and that the authorities of that country are investigating the former official’s migration situation.

“The information underway from our government ministry and prosecutor’s office is that Mr Parada is in Brazil in Corumbá and that he is currently under investigation which we cannot inform the country about as it is ongoing Investigations into their migration situation, “Lima said at a conference.

Parada is the former head of the personnel department of the Santa Cruz mayor’s office and the main person involved in the case of the 800 alleged phantom articles.
