Former candidate Pedro García is appointed regional director of Btv in Santa Cruz

Former candidate of the Movement for Socialism (MAS) for deputy governor of Santa Cruz and television presenter, Pedro García, was sworn in as the new regional director of Bolivia TV in the eastern capital this Wednesday.

The name of the communicator was reported via the social networks of the state television together with a photo in which he can be seen with the managing director of Btv, Rocio Molina.

In the last sub-national elections, García had contested the candidacy for governor of Santa Cruz with Mario Cronenbold, who was ultimately the official candidate of the MAS.

In the March 7 elections, former citizen leader Luis Fernando Camacho won the interior with 55.64%, while Cronenbold received 38.27%, according to the official census of the Departmental Electoral Court (TED).
