Former candidate for the Senator of the MAS is the new director of the Bolivian Post

Public Works Minister Edgar Montaño today inaugurated Orlando Pozo Terrazas as the new director of the Bolivian Post Office.

Pozo was elected Senator for the Movement on Socialism (MAS) in the 2019 elections, but after the electoral process was overturned, he went to Argentina and, as he said in an interview, “went into exile”.

He is 28 years old and, according to the Argentine portal Real Politics, was the department president of the youth of the MAS in Santa Cruz and national youth secretary of the unified union federation of peasant workers in Bolivia.

In an interview with this medium, he stated that he had to “leave Bolivia by force and go into exile because the political persecution in Santa Cruz was more intense”.
