Educational units and regions must decide whether to return to face-to-face teaching

The Ministry of Education presented resolution 001/2022 on Monday, which regulates the entire education system of the plurinational state.

This ordinance stipulates that every educational unit, every district and every department head must decide, depending on the epidemiological situation due to Covid-19, whether to approve face-to-face teaching

“In regular education we have the modalities of attention in relation to the implementation of distance, blended and face-to-face teaching. What it will depend on, especially the decentralized work of the various educational contexts. The choice of which modality is chosen is made by the educational unit, the district administration and the departmental department for education, because the behavior of the Covid is evaluated in coordination with the departmental department, the local government. where the work is constantly coordinated, ”said Education Minister Édgar Pary.

However, Pary made it clear that the government’s goal is for the classes to be face to face.

He said vaccination card was not a requirement for registration and that it was premature to talk about classroom teaching.

He urged parents to bring their children to the Covid-19 vaccination to protect their health.

The minister reiterated that local and regional authorities must ensure that biosafety measures are complied with.

He also pointed out that other features of resolution 01 include, among other things, the de-bureaucratisation, the productive fairs of the grammar schools, the unification of the curriculum networks.
