Carolina Ribera, daughter of former President Jeanine Áñez, requested again yesterday that the government approve medical examinations for her mother to find out the state of health of the former President.
“We don’t know if she has a heart complication, we don’t know if she’s going to have a heart attack or a stroke tomorrow. She has suffered so many serious crises,” he said in an interview with A midmorning of Los Tiempos and Grupo Centro.
On Wednesday, the prison regime allowed Áñez to leave Miraflores Prison for less than half an hour, but Carolina said her mother did not undergo any kind of examination and only underwent a general examination.
Meanwhile, Álvaro Terrazas, deputy minister for health systems management, said Áñez’s health team did not require hospitalization and ruled out the ex-president’s transfer to hospital.
