Carolina Ribera, daughter of ex-president Jeanine Áñez, assured that her mother “will die” in everything that happens to her. His testimony came after the ex-president was again transferred to a hospital without notifying his relatives.
Ribera regretted that her mother was still detained for the alleged coup, claiming her health was very fragile.
“My mother is in very poor health, my mother’s life is fading. We don’t know what we’re going to do. Most of all, what is being done to him is what is a cheek. My mother will die with it all.”
This morning, Áñez was taken to the Hospital del Norte in El Alto for a medical examination.
Norka Cuéllar, the family’s lawyer, denounced that the transfer had not been announced and that the ex-president was taken to a medical center in El Alto despite high blood pressure. The city is 4,000 meters above sea level.
