National head of anti-crime, Colonel Alberto Aguilar, reported that the cybercrime unit is investigating the origin of the video broadcast on social networks of masked men threatening Santa Cruz Governor Luis Fernando Camacho.
The video warning Camacho was released when the La Paz governor’s testimony in the “coup” case was slated for Thursday, although the performance was later suspended.
Colonel Aguilar said that the IP address (identification of the device connected to the Internet) from which the video was broadcast is being investigated.
The head of the FELCC said that it is also the task of the cybercrime unit to find out by patrolling social networks where and how these images are distributed.
