Cochabamba opens court year with 60,328 cases pending through 2022

The Justice Department resumed its operations last Monday and the Departmental Court of Justice (TDJ) of Cochabamba reported 60,328 pending cases in the chambers of the capital and provinces for 2022 during the opening ceremony of the judicial year today.

According to the President of the TDY, Pablo Antezana, the Justice Department opened the previous administration with 60,766 pending cases in 2020, 81,557 cases were entered in 2021 and 81,995 of the total cases were resolved.

The institution carried out face-to-face and remote work across senior management due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
