CC proposes a special commission to investigate phantom objects at all levels

The chairman of the Civic Community (CC) Bench in the House of Representatives, Carlos Alarcón, reported this Thursday that this political organization had sent a letter to the President of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly (ALP) asking for a special commission to investigate the case of after the parliamentary recess Phantom objects not only in Santa Cruz but also on various levels of the state.

Alarcón stated that the commission should consist of legislators from the three political forces that make up the ALP; the MAS, CC and Creemos.

He pointed out that the Commission should be proportionate and composed of parliamentarians with technical solvency and experience in the field.

He said that this commission will not overlap with the prosecutor’s and judiciary’s investigation and that it should be as broad as possible.

He stated that the Commission would investigate in three phases; first in the case of Santa Cruz, then in the capitals of the central axis of the country (La Paz, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz) and the governorates, and later in the central level of the state.

“It is understood that this will be done in three phases, local, departmental and national, and reports will be provided for each phase,” he said.

He said that “the MAS comes to play saint” if there is evidence of a “close” connection between the ruling party and the management of Angélica Sosa and Percy Fernández.
