Bolivia reports 2,119 cases of Covid-19 and Santa Cruz has the highest number in the fourth wave

The Ministry of Health reported 2,119 new infections with Covid-19 in one day on Thursday, of which 1,297 cases are in Santa Cruz, a new record in the fourth wave.

“It’s the day with the most fourth wave cases. We have 1,297 cases that adds up to 153,327 cases, ”reported the Santa Cruz government.

In addition, the Santa Cruz Department reported 846 recovered patients and 11 deaths from the disease. In Santa Cruz there are 83 people in intensive care and 86 in intermediate therapy.

1,351 recovered patients were also reported in the country and 19 people died. There are 32,771 active cases in Bolivia.

Meanwhile, Cochabamba today reported 137 new coronavirus infections, La Paz 245, Chuquisaca 73, Tarija 208, Potosí 13, Oruro 47, Beni 50 and Pando 49.

The number of cumulative cases in Bolivia reaches 560,684, of which 508,522 patients recovered and 19,391 lost their lives.
