Bolivia receives vaccines donated by three countries from Pfizer and AstraZeneca

The Vice Minister for Foreign Trade, Benjamín Blanco, reported that Bolivia will have 110 percent of vaccinations against Covid-19 by the beginning of October so that the entire vaccinable population is vaccinated.

“At the moment we already have the number of doses to (immunize) the vaccinable population that was prioritized in the 2020 vaccination plan (…) and in September or in the first days of October it would reach 110 percent to ensure that none Bolivians or Bolivians stay without their vaccination dose, ”said Blanco in an interview on Compañera radio.

He said the country had received 12,459,650 cans so far. He pointed out that only the second dose of Sputnik V is missing for the entire scheme, thus guaranteeing vaccinations for the entire vaccinable population of more than 7 million Bolivians over the age of 18.
