There are 34,557 active Covid-19 cases in Bolivia, the Ministry of Health announced this Saturday. On that day, 289 new infections were registered, 700 recovered and 10 deaths.
The new infections on this day are: Santa Cruz 61, Cochabamba 18, La Paz 98, Chuquisaca 20, Tarija 37, Potosí 24, Oruro 24, Beni 7 and Pando 0.
Since the pandemic started in March last year, 492,509 cases have been recorded, including reinfections, of which 439,445 have recovered. 18,507 people lost their lives in the process.
This Saturday, 30-second doses of the Sputnik-V vaccine arrived and will be distributed to the country’s headquarters for use to the population who must meet their vaccination schedules.
It is estimated that the health service will announce the quantities delivered and vaccination schedules tomorrow. The first and second doses of the Sinopharm vaccine are now being given.
