Two former ministers of the Temporary Administration of Jeanine ñez, Iván Arias and Óscar Ortiz, expressed their solidarity with former President Jeanine Áñez this Saturday after learning that she had injured herself at dawn in Miraflores prison, where she has been since five years in preventive detention sits months.
Former minister Iván Arias and now La Paz mayor-elect Iván Arias even came to Miraflores prison to express solidarity, but he was unable to enter, as was the representative of the Permanent Assembly of Human Rights, Amparo Carvajal.
Arias wrote on her Twitter account: “Today I tried to visit the former President Áñez, I express my solidarity with her and her entire family. It is incredibly painful to see that not even Amparo Carvajal from the Apdhb can visit them ”.
Meanwhile, Ortiz released: “Former President Áñez’s life is in danger from an arrest that violates her basic human rights. You must be able to defend yourself against the trials you face from home to save your life and respect your rights. God bless you, take care of yourself and strengthen yourself ”.
