Apdhb calls for a march to demand the freedom of the politically persecuted

The Permanent Assembly of Human Rights of Bolivia (Apdhb) called for a march to demand that former President Janine Áñez and all those “politically persecuted” can defend themselves freely.

“Calls on all human rights defenders, civil society and the population in general to concentrate in front of the doors of the Apdhb and later to march to Miraflores Women’s Prison, where former President Jranine Áñez is imprisoned, to meet them and all prisoners for the political persecution that is taking place in our country is experienced, they can defend themselves in freedom ”, it says in the convocation.

The rally will take place on Wednesday, August 25th at 12:00 in the House of Human Rights, Avenida 6 de Agosto, in La Paz.

The appeal is signed by the president of the pdhb, Amparo Carvajal.
