Aasana workers have been announcing a nationwide strike since Thursday

The employees of the Administration of Airports and Auxiliary Services to Air Navigation (AASANA) announced this Monday an indefinite national suspension of activities, which should begin on Thursday at 00:00.

Aasana’s conflict minister Néstor Villarroel claimed that the restructuring was a “white massacre” and that his wages and benefits have not yet been paid, according to the Red Uno.

“We will not accept negotiations, only compliance,” warned the Führer.

In June, after another strike alleging non-compliance with agreements, the government and leaders signed a bill to create a revolving fund of around Bs 84 million to reactivate the country’s airports. It was also agreed to improve the sustainability of Aasana, including the payment of salaries.
