1 million Sinopharm vaccines and 17.6 tons of supplies will arrive in Bolivia between this Tuesday and Thursday

Between Tuesday and Thursday, a batch of one million Sinopharm vaccines will arrive at Jorge Wilstermann International Airport in Cochabamba, in addition to 17.6 tons of medical supplies, President Luis Arce said.

A plane from the state of Boliviana de Aviación (BoA) is on its way from Beijing, China, with an initial 500,000 vaccines, PCR tests and nasal antigens as well as a “substantial donation” from the South Korean government.

The BoA’s 767-300 aircraft are scheduled to arrive this Tuesday at 6:30 a.m., according to a social media release from the Ministry of Public Works, Services and Housing

“The plane is also carrying a portion of the million PCR tests, 1.1 million antigen tests, an important donation of aid supplies from South Korea and a donation of laboratory equipment from @ChinaSinopharm. We work for people’s health. (Sic),” Arce added .

The doses and material will allow the mass vaccination schedule to continue and new cases of coronavirus to be detected.
